My Little Birthday Wish

My 26th birthday is coming up next week. If my mother-in-law didn't mention anything about it while we were out doing some errands I would have forgotten my own birthday! I thought it was still a month away. This really shows me how time can fly so quickly. Anyhow, my mother-in-law said something about it to ask me what I want for my birthday. I mean what exactly do you say when somebody asked you that?  I just told her not to worry about it and she don't have/need to get me anything and of course she replied to me saying that's never gonna happen. I really don't know what to tell her I guess she'll just have to decide. She knows what I like and don't like...

Anyway, I did tell my husband what I want for my birthday or shall I say what I want to "do"! This may sound really shallow to other people but it's okay I am just a very easy to please person and maybe/sometimes shallow or small things can make me happy..lol! Okay, back to my birthday wish and that is to drive to the mall with my friend and perhaps with my boys to do a little shopping. The purpose of this is, so that it will boost my confidence to drive in a much higher traffic roads.

I got my driver's license about 9 months ago and only been started driving recently. The roads that I drive here are not heavily traffic and pretty easy for me to navigate. By going to the mall where traffics are left and right, this should boost my confidence and won't be scared anymore! My husband agreed to it and I am kinda excited about it but I am not doing it on my actual birthday because I do want to spend my birthday with my family. Since my birthday is the day before 4th of July, I guess my little trip will be around the 5th or the 6th. Looking forward to it!

Red Gladiola

I am just beyond happy to see Scarlet Wednesday is back! I have been wondering why it stopped for how many weeks because I really enjoyed this Wednesday meme!

Anyway, for this week I am showing off my red Gladiola. My Gladiolas has been blooming for weeks now and there are still more that are just starting to bloom! The red one is just one of the colors blooming in my garden. Love to cut the flowers and put it in the vase. It is very ideal to cut because of it's long stem!

Crawling @ 7 Months Old!

Yesterday was the first time I've seen my youngest son crawl! Not a drag body crawl but a crawl using his two hands and knees. I was very surprised to see that because he has not learned how to crawl by dragging his body yet so that was literally a shock to us! Next thing he'll be doing is walking soon. He's been trying to do that I guess it's not gonna be long before he'll be able to do that. I have a mix feeling about this, sad and happy. Sad because it means he is getting really big and not so baby anymore. It's like I didn't even get to enjoy him being a baby and of course on the hand, I am happy and pleased that he is a normal 7-month old who's developing and learning new things really well!

Anyhow, I took a video of him yesterday and I would really love to upload it here but I haven't figured out how to do it here on wordpress and I don't even know if they'll let you upload a video if you're on a free domain. So I don't really know..anyway I applaud my youngest son for reaching another milestone!

"Back Off I'm Crabby...."

..is what is printed on my little one's shirt that he wore today. I got it at Walmart..I love baby clothes that has cute designs like that. We went to church today for our annual rummage sale and I brought my two boys with me. Everybody had a fit over my youngest son's shirt and they were asking if they had it in adult's size which I think it didn't. But they all loved it. I thought he looked so cute on it.

Anyway, pictures above were taken after we got home from our rummage sale at church. My youngest son loves to be outside as well as my oldest son if he's not busy with his video game! Anyhow, I let my youngest son down in the grass and he just loved it. He enjoyed crawling and pulling grasses and I thought he looked so cute so I decided to bring my camera out so I could take some pictures of him! I love how the pictures turned out!

7 Months Old And Growing Like A Weed!

Above picture is of my little one taken last Sunday for his seven month old picture. Yes he turned seven months already! I always try to have pictures taken of him when he turns a month old until his first birthday which will be less than five months from now! Wow, five months is actually not that far. Where in the world did the days gone by? He is growing like a weed, developing so well and learning new things. So much milestones he reached in seven months of his life! I can't wait and looking forward to see more!

Everyboy Loves Chocolate...

I have been craving for chocolates lately. I feel so guilty I kept taking packs of chocolates from the box that is meant to be sent  for my family in the Philippines. If I don't close that box soon, I'll end up eating all the chocolates in it! Anyway, I'm sure they'll appreciate all that stuff that I got them especially the chocolates. I got them different kinds. They don't get to eat them often for the fact that it is kinda expensive. My younger sister told me to make sure I put a bunch of them since everybody loves chocolate over there! Well, I did, I hope it'll be enough!

Anyhow, since I have been craving for chocolates and my birthday is coming up pretty soon, maybe I'll just ask hubby to get me some and give him this link best chocolate Serenata online to check out their scrumptious and heavenly-looking chocolates available! Gosh by just looking at these varieties of chocolates makes me want to lick the computer screen they look so good! I will probably regret eating this much chocolate later but oh well, I'll deal with it later!

The Beauty Of Having A Flowering Plants

I have so many Gladiola plants growing in my yard and they are blooming like crazy right now. Earlier I picked out some of the flowers to put in a vase. Gladiola flowers are great cut flowers to put in a vase. I just love the fact that I am able to pick out some flowers for free! I think they are very pretty! I got a couple of yellow ones in different location that are getting ready to bloom as well! Can't wait to pick some of them and put in a vase. This one of the beauty of having a flowering plants!

Happy Father's Day

I want to greet HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL WONDERFUL FATHERS OUT THERE especially to my loving husband and my very own papa whom I miss very much! I am so guilty right now for I didn't get to call him and greet him personally on the phone. Father's Day in the Philippines was yesterday since there a 12 hours time difference between the US and there. It is now 8:23 pm here and over there is exactly 8:23 in the morning! So I am thinking of calling my papa and greet him Father's Day even though I am a little late. Well, it is still better to greet him even if I'm late than not do it all! I will do it as soon as I get done with this post

Anyhow, we didn't do anything special for hubby's day. My mother-in-law asked him if he'd like to go out and eat somewhere but he didn't feel too good and chose to just spend it exclusively with us. We got him a little gift, from our two boys he got a personalized watch box and from me he got a book. I am so glad that he liked everything he got for father's day but of course even if we got him a piece of rock he would appreciate! lol..Anyhow, I took some photos earlier as a remembrance for this year's father's day and here it is below...

My Precious Boys

I am one lucky mama for having been blessed with two beautiful boys! I couldn't ask for anything else. I love my boys so much, they are my world, my everything! I am just so happy that my oldest son loves his little brother unbelievably. From the time his little brother was born, he has never shown any jealousy towards him at all. We were expecting that he'll be jealous of him which is perfectly normal but no, he was never jealous of him at all. In fact he is so protective of him. Every time when somebody holds his little brother, he will keep an eye and will tell me to get his brother back. He is so afraid that somebody will take his brother. And I keep explaining it to him that they are just holding him but he would not stop until I get his brother back. He even lets him slap him around just to make him laugh! It is truly unbelievable how much love he is showing towards his little brother!

And of course I can say the same thing to the little one. Every time he sees his big bro, his whole face brightens up and the sweetest smile he'll give to him. These two boys of mine shares a very special brotherly bond! I really hope they will take this kind of relationship until they are old. I hope nothing will ever come between these two that would ruin their special bond! I am just a one happy MAMA!

Dada Is His First Word

My youngest son will be turning 7 months old in less than 2 days and in his 7 months of life I am very amazed at how much he has grown and how much he has learned. He is very adamant to learn how to walk. Every time I put him in his playpen or on the floor, the first thing he does is find something to hold on to so that he can use it to pull his self up! He don't want to just crawl and sit around, he wants to use his two feet! So much amazement and amusement this little one has given me.

So on top of all of that, he learned how to say the word "dada". Well, it is definitely his first word. I don't feel jealous or disappointed at all. From the very beginning, I saw a very special bond that him and my husband shared that I didn't see on my first born. I mean my husband loves all his children equally but there is just something different between him and our youngest child. So I am not surprise at all that his first word is dada! Actually he started saying that word when he was just a few months old. I thought he was just saying some random baby words but he kept on saying it until now, he says it all the time! It's dada this and dada that! It is truly hilarious in a cute way!

Well, one day I will get my moment. He will eventually learn how to say the word mama. I am patient and I am not in a hurry. I am just enjoying seeing him developing really well. I will always be thankful to the Lord above for giving me these two beautiful boys!

One Day We Will Have Our Own!

I attended a graduation/farewell party earlier this afternoon at one of our friends house from church. Her granddaughter graduated from the Middle School and she's moving to Nashville to live with her mom and go to High School there. I will surely miss that girl, she is just a very nice and sweet girl!

Anyhow, the grandmother's house (our friend from church) was just amazing! Very lovely, modernized country-style house! I would really love to have a house like that one day maybe not as big. I'm pretty sure a beautiful and a big house like that also has a pretty big mortgage every month that I am very sure we will never be able to afford and I am also sure that even if we try to apply for a home loan we won't be approved because I am just a stay home mom and my husband retired early due to some work-related disability. But who knows, maybe one day we will have our own if the Lord above permits it!

Osteospermum!

[gallery link="file" columns="2"]

Another beautiful flowering plant that I planted last week, it's name is Osteospermum. I find the name of this plant very unique. My mother-in-law gave this plant to me about 2 weeks ago. When she gave it to me, there was a lot of buds on it but not in bloom yet.  Now it has so much blooms and I love the color of the flowers. The only thing I do not like about it is, this plant is annual, it means it won't come back next year but I can always buy some to plant in my garden if I see some more of this next year!

Air Duct Cleaning

I felt really bad the other day when I accidentally cracked two bird eggs. My husband told me to check our dryer's air vent because he said he saw something went in there. He thought it might have been a mouse or a bird. So I went out there and used a stick to poke in there and then this bird flew out from there. I could see that she had a nest in there and I was so afraid to get it out for she might have some eggs. I was trying to be very careful to get the nest out so I wouldn't break any eggs unfortunately I wasn't careful enough. When I scraped the nest out, I accidentally poked one with the stick and it broke and the other one fell out from the nest and broke as well! I felt terrible about it until now!

Anyway, I told hubby that we need to replace our vent there because it's in bad shape and who knows what else would try get in there! I could only imagine what our air duct looks like. I'm sure it needs cleaning! Well, if you happen to be in need of a professional air duct cleaner and live somewhere in Round Rock Texas, you can just  click round rock texas air duct cleaning. That way you don't have to waste your time looking for one since I already provided it for you! Somebody is gonna have to do ours. I better check and see if they're available in NC...

Another Milestone He Has Reached!

My youngest son who's gonna be 7 months this coming 17th of this month has reached another milestone today I'd say. I mean he's done so many things already baby his age are not capable of doing yet as what his pediatrician told us the last time we were there for his check-up. Well today, I put him in his walker and let him just have fun in the kitchen. I was very confident he'll be safe because he's just too young and small and not so strong yet to pull anything out of place yet while I was in front of the computer doing my daily routine which is checking my emails, etc..

I noticed that my son was really quite, all I could hear was his little rattle teething ring that he was smacking on something. When I turned around to see what he was doing, I was really surprised of what I saw! There he was standing near the kitchen cabinets and drawers. One of the drawers was open and it happened to be where we keep our kitchen stuff like cheese shredder, lids, small objects, etc...He was trying his best to reach in there, fortunately his hand wasn't long enough to get anything out of there and the walker was keeping him from reaching in there too. Seeing that sight made me realize that it's about time to make this house child-proof once again! Good thing I didn't get rid off those l0cks t hat we used to locked our cabinets when my oldest was just a baby!

Anyway, I snapped a couple of pictures of my son while he was doing all of that. I uploaded one below.. I'm so glad that he reached another milestone but when they start doing things like that it can be very dangerous. This is the time that you really got to keep an eye on them when they're into everything! I am just so happy that he is developing normally! Thank God for that...

First Love Veronica

[gallery link="file" columns="2"]

I so love this plant named First Love Veronica that I bought at Lowe's yesterday. The first thing that caught my attention was it's bloom. It is just lovely in my opinion. I only bought one plant but I am thinking of getting some more the next time I get a chance to come back to Lowe's. The best thing about this plant is, it is perennial so it should come back every year it won't die on me!
